BRYAN COLLIER
The  Blistering Hot Month of JULY Presents a Blazing Hot & Talented Author/Illustrator,         Mr. BRYAN COLLIER

Born a native Marylander.  Bryan Collier hails from the area of Maryland known as the Eastern Shore. He grew up in Pokomoke, Maryland.  Mr. Collier in an interview revealed that his love of illustration stems from his childhood experiences of yearning to see pictures like himself in the books that he read.

Bryan Collier has received numerous awards.  One of his first awards was a Congressional competition where he won the right to have his art displayed in the Capitol building for a year in Washington DC. This occurred while Bryan was still attending high school.  Bryan Collier received a scholarship to attend The Pratt Institute in New York city, and later graduated from there.

In addition, Mr. Bryan Collier has attributed enormously to the education of children by both authoring and or illustrating the following historical books.  Likewise, we are proud to announce this months celebration of  award winning Author/Illustrator Bryan Collier.
